REASI, May 27: District Information Officer Reasi, Rajinder Kumar Digra today convened an interactive meeting with the media fraternity.
Media Fraternity apprised the DIO about their issues and difficulties being faced by them while covering the events on ground.
They also put forth the demand for establishment of a press club in Reasi.
Rajinder Kumar said that the media was the 4th and significant pillar of democracy and holds an important role in delivery of transparent and accountable governance to the people.
The DIO called for focusing on positive and constructive reporting.
Rajinder Kumar emphasized upon Media persons to submit the copy of Authorisation and to give good coverage to achievements of the government and follow ethics of journalism. |
