| GDC Ramnagar organized practical session on "Yoga and Mind Activation Techniques" | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: GDC Ramnagar organized a practical session on "Yoga and Mind Activation Techniques" for the students of the College under the able guidance and directions of Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Principal GDC Ramnagar. The lecture was organized by the collaboration of NSS, NCC and Sports Department of the College. Amit Sharma, Teacher and Neuroscience DMIT, Preventive Health Expert and Yash Paul, Yoga Instructor Patanjali were the resource persons for the session. Yash Paul demonstrated the techniques of Surya Namaskar and other yoga exercises and also explained their importance in maintaining healthy life style. Amit Sharma demonstrated important techniques through which the students can increase their concentration and activate the mind for better learning. Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Principal, in his address highlighted the importance of Yoga and asked students to include practice of yoga asanas in their daily routine. He also thanked the resource persons and felicitated them by presenting mementos. The entire proceedings were coordinated by Prof. Ritika Mahajan, NSS Co-ordinator, Prof. Aditya Sharma, NCC ANO and Dr. Mukesh Kumar. |
