AYUSH Deptt celebrates 7th Iconic yoga session

KISHTWAR, June 18: On the guidelines of Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India and in compliance to the directions of Worthy Director AYUSH J&K, Dr. Mohan Singh,the Ayush Departement under the guidance of I/C District Nodal AYUSH Kishtwar Dr. Prince Gupta and in collaboration with District Administration Kishtwar today organized 7th Iconic Yoga session prior to the final event of International Day of Yoga-2022.
The said mega event of Yoga was organised at Dachhan Kishtwar where a total of about 370 locals including students participated in the event.
In this event, Dr. Musharraf Nabi Medical officer along with Dr.Joneed Iqbal Medical officer and Abdul Wahid Pharmacist demonstrated various yoga asanas and pranayams to them.
They also enlightened the participants with the concept of adapting yoga-pranayama in their day today life and its role in attaining health.
Sidewise, an immunity booster camp was also organised here where free medicines were also distributed among the general public.
This was the final among 7 iconic Yoga sessions scheduled to be conducted by Department of AYUSH Kishtwar in collaboration with various government and private institutions, schools, colleges, armed forces, battalions etc. before the final celebration of 8th International Day of Yoga-2022.
