ICAI organizes session on new central and state Industrial policy

Jammu, June 28: The Committee of MSME and Startup of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, celebrated the International MSME Day on 27th June 2022 in association with Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Jammu. The event was hosted by J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI.
Chief Guest of this event was Director, Industries and Commerce Department, Hon’ble Smt. Anoo Malhotra, JKAS. The Speakers for the event were Sh. Arshad Noomani, JKAS, Functional Manager, I&C Department, J&K, Smt. Komal Sharma, JKAS, Functional Manager, I&C Department, J&K, CA Vishal Thappa, CA Anurudh Tiwari.
Speakers Sh. Arshad Noomani and Smt. Komal Sharma appraised the members on various nuances of Central and State New Industrial Policy for UT of J&K for the Period 2021-2030, procedures and its benefits. Audience was informed about benefits available to Entrepreneurs and MSMEs under Central and State Schemes like PMEGP, J&K REGP, SFRUTI, and others by Speakers CA Vishal Thappa and CA Anurudh Tiwari. Chief Guest Smt. Anoo Malhotra also emphasised on highlights of New Central and State Industrial Policy , how its better from other States and benefits available in it.
CA. Nakul Saraf, Chairman J&K Branch of ICAI, welcomed the Chief Guest and mentioned that this year MSME day is observed under the theme of resilience and rebilding of MSMEs for sustainable development.The event was coordinated and moderated by CA Ayush Sawhney, Treasurer, J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI. CA. Vineet Kohli, Secretary, CA Sourav Pargal, Executive Committee Member, CA Priya Seht, Executive Committee Member along with number of Chartered Accountants and Govt. Officers attended the event.
