JK reports 505 fresh positive cases, 451618 recovered

SRINAGAR, July 21: The Government today informed that 505 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 277 from Jammu division and 228 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 458456.
Moreover, 152 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 97fromJammu division and 55 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 458456 positive cases, 2077 are Active Positive (1176 in Jammu Division and 901 in Kashmir Division), 451618 have recovered and 4761 have died; 2336 in Jammu division and 2425 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 25988112 test results available, 458456 samples have tested positive and 25529656 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 14,571COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6598591 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 328 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2077 in isolation and 434 in home surveillance. Besides, 6590991 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 200 cases, Srinagar reported 144 cases, Udhampur reported 25 cases, Baramulla reported 38 cases, Kishtwar reported 11 cases, Kathua reported 14 cases, Rajouri, Doda and Bandipora reported 05 cases each, Samba and Budgam reported 06 cases each, Pulwama and Ganderbal reported 02 cases each, Kupwara reported 23 cases, Anantnag and Reasi reported 03 cases each, Poonch reported 08 cases, Kulgam reported 04 cases, Shopian reported 01 case, while as no other district across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir reported any fresh case.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
