Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 5: Programs were held in different areas of Jammu West Assembly segment where people from all walks of life participated and celebrated the historic day when Article 370 was abrogated from Jammu and Kashmir. Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) also unfurled the tricolor in various areas and dedicated this day to the non ending development of J&K after 370 abrogation.
Sharma was also accompanied by State Secretary BJP Ayodhya Gupta, BJP Leader & Corporator Sanjay Baru who organized the programs in their respective areas. Mandal President Keshav Chopra and several others were also present.
While strongly defending the decision of Narendra Modi Government regarding annulling of controversial Article 370 and 35 A, he said this ended discrimination with majority of people of J&K especially West Pak refugees, Valmiki Samaj and Gorkha Samaj who for decades were deprived of citizenship rights.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said controversial Article 370 and 35 A which was merely a deal between two dynastic parties led to deterioration of development across Jammu and Kashmir.
He said denying lakhs of people of their fundamental rights and depriving their children of doing professional and other jobs in J&K was injustice to humanity. He complimented PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah and party leadership for showing their concern for J&K’s development and freeing J&K from shackles of darkness.
Sharma also stated that new opportunities are now available for everyone in J&K and not just in Jammu, people in Kashmir have also adopted a true nationalist approach which gave a befitting reply to anti national forces which never wanted J&K to prosper.
Ayodhya , Baru and Keshav highlighted about the discrimination done by few political parties for their vested interests and said that under the leadership of PM Modi, J&K has achieved new heights.
They also talked about various projects being taken up in J&K after 370 abrogation.
