JSSJ organises inter-school competition

JAMMU, Aug 6: To celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav; Jammu Sanskriti Scho, Jammu organised an Inter- school competition 2022 woven around the theme Naman. The Azadi Amrit Mahotsav means elixir of energy of independence; elixir of inspirations of the warriors of freedom struggle; elixir of new ideas and pledges;and elixir of Aatmanirbharta. Therefore, this Mahotsav is a festival of awakening of the nation; festival of fulfilling the dream of good governance; and the festival of global peace and development. Ajay Pal Singh (Theatre And Film Artist), Gauri Thakur (Theatre Director And Actor), Suman Devi (Senior Teacher, Sunrise Higher Secondary School) and Radhika Gupta (Former CCA Coordinator Banyan International School) graced the occasion and were the judges for the competition. Overall 15 schools participated.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries and school authorities including the Director Operations Sunakshi Anand, Vice-Principal Avneet kaur, Headmistress Prabhjot kour, Superintendent Of Curriculum And Instructions Varuna Mangotra, Principal Kindergarten Nidhi Kohli, Administrative Officer Ms. Tarmeet Kour. The event began with mesmerising welcome dance.Welcome address was given by our little Sanskritians Vaideesha, Amogh and Saksham. The participants of different schools showcased their theatrical skills through impeccable dramas and presented rhythmic poems. All the participants were very enthusiastic and exhuberant to perform. They all were amazing. Ajay Paul Singh Andotra (Theatre And Film Artist) appreciated JSS, Jammu for organising such a wonderful event. He also applauded the teachers for mentoring the participants.
Gauri Thakur (Theatre Director And Actor) also cheered participants for their amazing performances. Principal Cum Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima congratulated and conveyed her wishes for the event.
Vice- Principal,JSS, Jammu Avneet Kaur also shared her kind words with everyone.
Winners of Poem Recitation were announced by Judges in which Sarth Kuhkiar from APS Nagrota bagged Ist prize, 2nd prize was shared by 2 schools Suditi Sharma from Banyan International School and Manaira shree from Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua, 3rd prize was also shared by 2 schools Quratb-Al- Aiyan Fatima from IDPS and Samaira Attri from APS Kaluchak , Consolation Prize was given to Khivi Singh from Doon International School.
All area coordinators and assistant coordinators from JSS Jammu also graced the event.
