Bike rally taken out to promote Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

RAJOURI, Aug 6: In continuation to the series of activities being organised in the district as part of ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the District Administration Rajouri today organised a bike rally. The rally was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal. The rally started from Salani Bridge and culminated at Sports Stadium Kheora after passing through Muradpur and Badhoon circuit. As many as 100 bikers from across the district participated in the rally. Among others present at the event included SSP, Mohd Aslam; PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; AD FCS&CA, Arief Lone; DYSSO, Sunil Samyal; ARTO, Shami Kumar and AD Planning, Mohd Rafi.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Commissioner said that the objective of the rally was to generate awareness among the general public about Har Ghar Tiranga, Nasha Mukht Bharat abhiyan, digital services, road safety and Jan Bhagidari.
"District Administration is organising such events to amplify the awareness of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, the Government of India initiative to inculcate a personal connect between the citizens of India and the National Flag", the DC said.
He also said that the rally would add more enthusiasm among the public and respect for our Tricolour.
