LFO-BHF organises Go Green campaigne

JAMMU, Aug 18: LFO-BH Foundation organised a tree plantation drive with the support of IMS (Institute Of Management Sciences), Akhnoor at IMS College in which more than 70 variety of Medicinal, Fruit, Flowering, Shade, Ornamental plants were planted at IMS college premises and around 80 plants were planted at adjoining areas.
Awarness lecture was also delievered by volunteers of LFO-BHF in which volunteers motivated the students of IMS College to plant more saplings and trees in surroundings and take care of them.
LFO-BH Foundatoin ensure to contribute as much as possible in the 'Go Green' initiative of Government of India. In this drive, NGO tried to covered different areas of IMS college.
Director of IMS said "I'm so happy to see how the youth of our UT is contributing towards our nation, I really wish these volunteers good luck and best wishes".
Vishal Singh (COO & Co - Founder of the organisation) said "Our NGO continue to organize such activities to contribute in maintaining ecological balance and conserving the environment".
Also, Abhinandan Sharma (General Secratary of the Organisation) while talking he said "The tree plantation drive was conducted with an aim of contributing to the Green Drive of our country, fighting against global warming and thereby reducing its impact on climate change and ultimately presenting a better environment for the next generation".The NGO is encouraging the locals to do the same so that a large number of saplings can be locally prepared and planted for increasing the green cover of the area, he added.
The volunteers who were present in this plantation drive were Jyoti, Rubik, Stuti, Shruti, Shubam, Dev Ashish, Navya, Sahil, Ritik, Kamakshi, Abhishek, Sahil and many more.
