JKPCC Chief calls upon senior leadership of party

JAMMU, Aug 18: Newly sworn in Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Chief and former minister Viqar Rasool Wani today called upon senior Congress leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Saif-ud-Din Soz, Tariq Hameed Karra, Peerzada Sayeed, Haji Rasheed,his predecessor G.A Mir and also had a telephonic conversation with Taj Mohi-ud-Din. This is the first major visit of Viqar to the top party brass in the UT.
In a press statement issued here Vikar said that these visits were aimed at extending his gratitude to all these senior leaders for standing behind him like a rock and for showing their confidence in him. Viqar, also sought blessings and guidance from these leaders which he was assured of by all of them.
He was flayed and encouraged by them to work for strengthening the party from grass root level and was also assured of their unflinching support by going along with the decision of the party high command in building a strong Congress in Jammu and Kashmir together.
