| DC Rajouri inaugurates Inter Zonal District Level event | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 22: RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 22: The open DM Table Tennis Rolling Trophy began at the Indoor Sports stadium Khoera Rajouri here on Thursday. Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal inaugurated the tournament in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Kataria; District Youth and Sports Officer, Sunil Samyal and others. The DM Table Tennis Rolling Trophy is an open championship for both boys and Girls. Interacting with the players, the Deputy Commissioner exhorted them to take equal interest in sports along with academics to become all-rounders. Furthermore, he appreciated the Department of Youth Services and Sports for creating mass awareness about the significance of sports. He also lauded the efforts of the department for organising such types of sports activities and asked them to work with the same zeal. He said the main objective of organising such events is to channelize the energy of the students, develop their physical and mental health and imbibe team spirit and understanding. |
