DECC organises job fair

REASI, Sept 27: The district Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Reasi today organised a Job Fair wherein the employers conducted on the spot interviews of the unemployed youth, while the government departments set up stalls for information and counselling.
Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal presided over the fair. She interacted with the employers, government departments and the youth and emphasised upon the self employment generation and asked the youth to take the benefits of various schemes run by the government.
The Assistant Director Employment as the youth to registr on the employment portal (jakemp.nic.in) to get real time information about job opportunities in the length and breadth of the nation.
Different line departments like Handicraft, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, Handloom, DIC, KVIB, SC/ST/OBC Development Corporation set up their stalls wherein they informed and counselled the youth regarding various self employment schemes run by them.
Different companies, including SBI Life, Narayana Vaishno Devi Super Specialty Hospital Katra, LIC India etc participated in the Job fair and interviewed the candidates. A huge number of youth, who took part in the event, were interviewed. The final selection call will be send to the interviewed youth later.
