Kishtwar police recovered stolen 6 month old baby after 8 hours

Jammu September 27: Kishtwar police with the help of the local public today manage to recover the six month old baby after 8hours since the women decamped with the child from District Hospital Kishtwar at around 11 Am.
As per the details available with Early Times, the child was stolen by the accused women identified as Shabnum Begum wife of Late Hussain alias Shamim R/o Chilli Pinglana killed in 2003 in an encounter at Dunadi (also HM militant) and also wife of late Zahoor Khanday alias Basit Ali (HM militant) R/o Chili Balla killed at Batyas in the year 2004 & daughter of Late Bashir Ahmed Dev Resident of Veterinary Hospital Gali Kishtwar steel the child while engaging his mother who had come to Hospital for medical treatment.
As soon as the news of the child theft reported at Police Station Kishtwar, Kishtwar police immediately swung into action and launched a massive manhunt to trace out the missing child.
Soon Kishtwar police was joined by the local volunteers along with President Municipal Council Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Najjar also joins the search operation.
Police also check the CCTV Footage of the hospital along with other CCTV Cameras installed on various routes of Kishtwar town.
After Kishtwar police launched the manhunt, several other agencies also wake up to the call and join the search operation.
It was only after the effect intelligence input develop by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the child was recovered by the officials of the CID department led by Dy.SP Irshad Ahanger who later handed over the child to Kishtwar Police.
SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Butt told the local media about the recovery of the child and urged upon the people to remain vigilant beside also urged the traders to install CCTV Cameras.
Meanwhile people in Kishtwar erupts in joy following the recovery of the child. People demanded exemplary punishment to the women involved in kidnapping of the child. The child was later handed over to the family members. Police has registered a case and has started its investigation
