Apni Party delegation calls on HS Mankotia

JAMMU, Sept 28: Apni Party delegation today met Councillor and Chairman Swachh Bharat Mission, Jammu Municipal Corporation Hardeep Singh Mankotia and discussed various developmental issues.
In a statement to the press, the delegation was led by Apni Party Provincial Secretary / District President Jammu Urban Dr Rohit Gupta and he was accompanied by State General Secretary Youth WIng Abhay Bakaya, Vice President Jammu Urban Vaibhav Mattoo, Deepak Bradoo, Abhishek Goswami, Asif Mohd, senior leader Sukhwinder Singh Laadi and others.
The delegation discussed various issues regarding sanitation and cleanliness in Jammu City. Dr Rohit Gupta said that they raised the issue of encroachment and insanitation, enroute model institute of education and research BC road.
He highlighted the issue of scattered garbage and illegal parking which has created problems for the students.
He said that the lanes and drains are not being maintained in the wards and many of the residential colonies have complaints about the scattered garbage, demand of street lights, stray cattles / dogs issue are among the serious issues which needs to be addressed.
He said that the departments work in Jammu City without coordination. "If one department lays tile work, another comes and digs a pit in the middle of the road to lay pipes causing trouble to the commuters and local residents," he said.
