Celebrity singers to perform on daily basis at devotional song competition

KATRA, Sept 28: All India Devotional Song Competition entered in Second day evening as a part of Navratra Festival 2019 began today at Yog Ashram Complex in the evening by litting of a traditional lamp by Deputy Commissioner, Reasi in presence of Jt.Director Tourism Sunaina Mehta, Addl. SP Katra Amit Bhasin,SDM Katra Angrez Singh, Chairman Devotional Song Committee & President Hotel Association Katra Rakesh Wazir, Asstt. Director Tourism Ambika Bali, Swami Yoganand ji Maharaj etc. etc.
Where as in Second day of the preliminary round of competition Rajeev Salotra from Jammu took 1st position & 2nd position was took by Shubham Banerjee from Jammu whereas Meghna Chandra from Delhi,Vivek Mohan from Jammu and Karan Kumar from Samba shared 3rd position, among the 12 auditioned participants in which 03 participants were from outside state and were provided with the cash prizes of 10,000/-, 5,000/- and 3,000/- respectively.
The Devotional Song Competition was adjudged by the panels of experts in music including Celebrity Dr.Surinder Kumar Sharma HOD Govt. Degree College Sunni Shimla, Dr.Usha Bhagati Ex. HOD Music many degree colleges including P.G. M.A.M College Jammu, Dr. Anupma Sharma Ex. HOD PG Music Department, Government College Parade.
Famous singer and Former winner of All India Devotional Song Competition Sanjeet Kumar enthralled the audience with his melodious songs and the total environment of the venue became spiritual and the people were seen dancing on his tunes.
The proceeding of Competition was conducted by Sh. Rakesh Wazir who is also the Chairman of the said Competition who while speaking on the occasion said that famous singers who are lined up for their guest performances on the stage include Joy Sufi 30th & 1st Sep., Balraj on 2nd Oct.,Shanker Sawhney on 3rd Oct. Richa Sharma & Amrinder Bobby on 4th Oct. and likewise the dates of Lakhwinder Wadalli, Tarun Sagar and other renowned singers are about to be finalised and live telecast of the event is available on PTC Punjabi Gold from 9 PM onwards daily.
The All India Devotional Song Competition being organized by SMVD Shrine Board, Deptt. of J&K Tourism, PTC Punjabi Gold in association with Patanjali Dantkanti and co sponsored Monalisa, Lia Agarvati, J&K Bank, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialist Hospital, Nidesh Builders Pvt.Ltd. Jammu,with active support of District Administration and the local host Community, whereas 92.7 Big FM is Radio partner
The Grand finale of the All India Devotional Song Competition will be held on 4th of Oct. and Winners will be awarded with gold amounting to Rs. 3 Lakh and a recording contract with Venus Records &Tapes ltd and likewise the runners ups will get 01 lac and 50,000/- respectively.
