KATHUA, Nov 23: Institutional Innovation Council of Govt GLDM Degree College Hiranagar organised Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career at auditorium. The program was held under Able Guidance of Worthy Principal Dr Pragya Khanna. The Resources person was Meena Devi, Entrepreneur and Master trainer at Vishavakarma Bamboo Handicrafts Industrial Cooperative Society Ltd. Registered with Handicrafts and Handloom Department J&K. She gave training to the students how to make different handicrafts items from Bamboo. She also told the students about the importance of Bamboo its medicinal value now a days. She shared her experience how she started this work before her marriage and continued after marriage. She also told that this is now her business and source of earning.
