JAMMU, Nov 24: Chairman, Freedom Fighter Memorial Association (FFMA), J&K UT, Rajiv Mahajan and others office bearers of association on Thursday paid rich tributes to Shri Guru Teg Bahadur and recalled the supreme sacrifices of this great Guru.
While paying tributes to Shri Guru Teg Bahadur, Rajiv Mahajan described him as a great Sikh Guru, who laid down his life for the protection of Hindu religion during the days when people were forced to convert to Islam by Mughal emperor Aurangzed.
He said that Guru Teg Bahudar's sacrifices also set an example for others not to bow but fight till last breathe.
He also spoke on different stages of the life of Guru Teg Bahudur and said that Sikh community feels proud to have such a great human being as their Guru who taught brotherhood and respect for others.
He said that the young generation should be guided to learn about the supreme sacrifices of such Gurus, for whom respect for other religious and protecting the helpless people had been the mission of their life. |
