Sunrise public school organizes childline awareness session

JAMMU, Dec 2: Today Sunrise Public School, Channi Himmat, Jammu, an educational unit of Sunrise Educational Trust (SET INDIA) organized an awareness session in the school in association with CHILDLINE, Kachi Chawni, Jammu. It is very important for every child to aware about the CHILDLINE, and children should take advantage of the resources available to them such as CHILDLINE. Ravinder Singh and Miss Dhana Noushad (Social Work trainees, Department of Social Work, central University of Jammu) coordinated the awareness session. Dr. Nancy Mengi (Head of Department of Social Work, Central University of Jammu), Pinky Jain (Coordinator of CHILDLINE, Kachi Chawni, and Jammu) and Sakshi (Counselor of CHILDINE, Kachi Chawni, and Jammu) were the chief guests of the session. In this session Ravinder Sing delivered welcome speech, Pinky Jain talked about CHILDLINE and its services and Miss. Sakshi talked about 'safe touch and unsafe touch'. Rajesh Sharma (Founder Trustee, SET INDIA), Manpreet Kour (Principal of Sunrise Public School) and Miss. Nisha Chauhan (Teacher of Sunrise Public School) talked in the session. Students also presented their talents in the session.
