RAMBAN, Dec 2: Jan Abhiyan activities are in full swing in all three municipalities of district Ramban as part of 'My Town My Pride' phase-2 which witnessed huge public participation to take benefit from various schemes of different sectors. Municipal Committee Batote today sensitized the people about the City Livelihood Plan during an awareness programme attended by the President MC Batote, Ravinder Singh, Tehsildar, Vijay Sharma, Naib Tehsildar, Sanok Singh, and various other officers of line departments.
Similarly, Municipal Committee Banihal organized a camp where officers of line departments sensitized the people about various developmental, social, and job-oriented schemes of their respective sectors. The ARTO Ramban also sensitized the people about Motor Vehicle Act and road safety measures besides discussing the transport plan with the ward members and other prominent citizens.
Meanwhile, District Administration organized an exhibition cum awareness camp at Ramban where various departments set up their stall including DUDA, DIC, KVIB, PMJAY-U, Agriculture, Horticulture, Housing Board, Social Welfare, Labour and Employment to provide the benefit of their schemes to deserving people.
Speaking on the occasion, President MC Ramban, Sunita Sumbria asked the officers to put a special focus on saturating youth and beneficiary-oriented oriented schemes like Golden Card, MUMKIN, PMAY-U, and Tejaswini schemes.
