Spring Dales celebrates Annual Sports Day

KATHUA, Dec 3: Spring Dales English School, Changran, Kathua celebrated the 3 days annual sports event named as Win and Joy Tournament amidst a lot of fun and frolic. The Guests of Honors were Kewal Krishan Sir, District Education and Planning Officer Kathua, Rajeev Vaid and Sanjeev from Police Department.
The sports event included Cricket (Captain Batra Trophy), Badminton, Kho Kho (Blossoms Cup), Spoon and Lemon Race, Boomboom Balloon, Fast Walk, Pyramid Formation, River and Bank. The students put up a very exciting and really engrossing display of sportsmanship, fine and gross motor coordination, daring spirit-de-corps, a sense of fairness and yet competitive spirit.
The winners were as follow: Badminton-Challengers (Himani and Aradhya of Maurya House), Kho-Kho-Tigers (Ishanvi, Captain of Maurya House), Volleyball-Challengers (Bhuminder, Captain of Maurya House), Cricket jr-Tigers (Prabhroop, Captain) and Cricket sr-Tiger (Nitish, Captain).
In the end, the winners were awarded medals and certificates. Principal, Usha Gupta congratulated the students and the staff for organizing a wonderful sports event.
