Series of activities held across district Ramban to benefit public

RAMBAN, Dec 3: In continuation to the Shari Jan Abhiyan under ‘My Town My Pride’ Phase-2, District Administration Ramban, under the aegis of the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, organized a series of activities across all the three Municipal limits of the district including Ramban, Banihal, and Batote.
President Ramban MC, Sunita Sumbria presided over an public awareness camp organized by the Municipal Council and attended by the Councillors, Senior Officers, Prominent Citizens, and other officers of line departments and the general public.
Speaking on the occasion, President MC Ramban, Sunita Sumbria asked the officers to put special focus on saturating youth and beneficiary oriented schemes like Golden Card, MUMKIN, PMAY-U, and Tejaswini schemes.
Similarly, My Town My Pride programmes were conducted by the Municipal Committee Banihal where officers of line departments sensitized the people about the developmental, social, and job-oriented schemes of their respective sectors.
Municipal Committee Batote sensitized the people about the City Livelihood Plan during an awareness programme attended by its President, Ravinder Singh, Naib Tehsildar, Sanok Singh and other officers of line departments.
The officers of Industries, Agriculture, Housing and Urban Development, KVIB, Social welfare, Labour & Employment and other line departments sensitized the participants about the schemes of their respective departments, besides encouraging the youth to take benefit of all government schemes, especially job oriented schemes.
