Development top priority of BJP: Vinay, Rekha

JAMMU, Dec 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Senior leader and Seh-Prabhari BJP District Jammu North Vinay Gupta along with Rekha Mahajan President BJP District Jammu South, Bharat Bhushan Vice Chairman Cantonment Board and Mandal President Gandhi Nagar kick-started the tile work in Cantonment ward no.1 at Narwal pain Airport Road Jammu, this was the long pending demand of inhabitants of the area has been fulfilled.
While addressing the gathering, Vinay Gupta said that the Central team led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the overall development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by giving equal stress on both rural as well as urban areas. Vinay expressed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes in 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwas' Sabka Paryas' as a result of which the party has been progressing by leaps and bounds with each passing day. He said that it is the ground performance of the party and its Modi-led Govt at the Centre that speaks itself of the unprecedented pace of developmental works going on across the nation, especially in Jammu.
While speaking on the occasion, Rekha Mahajan said, that such developmental works shall be undertaken in each Ward of the Corporation so that there can be equal development of all the Wards. Rekha further appealed to the general public that JMC is trying its best to provide basic amenities to the residents of Jammu city but for undertaking developmental works and maintaining better sanitation facilities, the residents have to come forward and join hands with JMC. Rekha asserted that several projects are underway to provide all basic amenities including better connectivity, safe drinking water, and better sanitation to the people.
The residents of the Ward present on the occasion appreciated the efforts of BJP leaders and assured them that they will extend their helping hands to Jammu Municipal Corporation for maintaining proper sanitation facilities and also while undertaking any kind of developmental works in the Ward.
Vinay and Rekha also interacted with the locals and listened to the area's developmental issues. They asked locals to identify the developmental needs of their area so that the works can be enlisted for execution by the concerned departments on priority. They said that regular monitoring is also being done to ensure no lapses. Vinay and Rekha also stressed upon locals to avail of benefits under various flagship welfare schemes and programs launched by the central Governments.
Prominent among others Sr.Hardev Singh ex-Vice Chairman Cantonment Board, Narinder Koki, Vinod Sharma, Shanti Swaroop Bakshi, Ramesh Gupta, Mohit Raina, Pawan Raina, Naresh Kumar, Meetu Sharma, Ashwani Kumar, Dev Raj and other Prominent persons of the area were present on the occasion.
