| Civil Defence organises one day awareness camp | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 8: one day Awareness programme on First Aid, CPR, Choking, Fire Fighting and other emergency rescue methods was organized at Sant Hari Ram Dass High School Mandal in which (150) Students of the School participated. The program was organized under the supervision of Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu who gave awareness about basic knowledge through demonstration by Civil Defence experts. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Manmade Disaster.
On the occasion a lecture was also delivered by Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role of Civil Defence in the organization. Chairman of the Public School Sant Ram Dass appreciated the role of Civil Defence in spreading awareness about disaster management and rescue.
Beside others Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden CD, Jammu R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD, Jammu, Ajay Kumar Principal of the School and other staff of the HRD High School were also present on the occasion. |
