DIG UR range interacts with Bharat Darshan tour students

UDHAMPUR, Jan 17: DIG Udhampur Reasi Range Mohd Suleman Choudhary, IPS had a formal interaction with group of students of Reasi District on their return from Bharat Darshan Tour today at District Police Lines Reasi. On the occasion, the students shared their views and learning experience during the week long tour to Delhi and Kolkata. The students were excited to narrate their travel experiences and the sites visited by them. They said that it was a great opportunity for them as they got to know about diverse culture, languages, architecture of the county. Welcoming the students, the DIG UR Range said that J&K Police is organizing the Bharat Darshan tours for youth / students of far flung areas to educate them about our diversified culture and groom them to become good citizens and achieve great heights in future. He said that travelling to different places is itself a valuable experience during which people get to learn different aspects of life and advised them to share their experience with their families and friends in their schools.
Amit Gupta SSP Reasi briefed that students which was on Bharat Darshan tour visited at North block, South Block, Delhi, National Police Memorial, Red Fort, India Gate, Jantar Mantar Delhi, President House, Raj Ghat, Museum of Red Fort Delhi, had an interaction with Special Commissioner of Delhi Police and then on their visit to Kolkata by air interacted with Senior Police Officers of Kolkata Police, also visited Victoria Memorial Museum Kolkata, Howrah Bridge, Eco Park, Quest Mall, Zoological Garden Alipore, Science City, Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Underground Mock-up Coal Mine etc.
Families of participating students appreciated the efforts of District Police Reasi for organizing such a wonderful Bharat Darshan Tour for their wards.
Thereafter, DIG U-R Range held detailed Security Review Meeting at DPO Reasi in view of forthcoming Republic Day 2023 and prevailing security scenario of the UT with the Officers of District Police/Army/CRPF and intelligence agencies. Shri Amit Gupta, SSP Reasi and other officers attending the meeting briefed about the security arrangements in place for the forthcoming Republic Day 2023 and other security measures being taken jointly to thwart any attempt by the ANEs to disturb peace and tranquility in the area. DIG U-R Range while deliberating in detail expressed his concern and exhorted the officers to work in synergy and foil any attempt on behalf of PAK handlers and ANEs to revive militancy in the district. He emphasized upon the need to remain extra vigilant and ensure fool proof arrangements during the forthcoming Republic Day 2023 and also ensure security of all vital installations in the district.
The meeting was attended by Romesh Kotwal, Commandant IRP, Amit Bhasin, SSP Katra, Nissar Mohd, Commandant CRPF Reasi, Col Rawat 14 sector, SDPOs and officers of intelligence agencies.
