Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 23: Shiv Sena J&K unit today paid glorious tributes to the Hindu icon and Founder of the Party, Bala Saheb Thackeray on his 97th birth anniversary by distributing food among poor and needy people.
While paying tributes to Bala Saheb, Sahni said that Bala Saheb always considered helping the needy and patriotism as supreme religion. "He was a true Sanatani and always stood firm against injustice," he maintained.
Remembering Balasaheb Thackeray, Sahni said that Balasaheb Thackeray is not physically with us today, but his thoughts and ideas are still alive in every Shiv Sainik.
Demanding Bharat Ratna for Balasaheb Thackeray, Sahni said that Balasaheb was recognized as the first voice to raise the cause of Hindus. "That's why he is called Hindu Hriday Samrat. Balasaheb used to say that if you have confidence then your victory is definite," he added.
Women's wing president Meenakshi Chhibber and General Secretary Vikas Bakshi were present on the occasion.
