JKCCA to organize 14th International Exhibition of Art

JAMMU, Jan 23: Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Regd., Jammu is organizing its 14th International Exhibition of Art (Online) on 29th January, 2023. The Exhibition would be inaugurated online by the chief guest Jenab Saleem Beg, Former Chairman of National Monuments Authority, J&K and Director General Tourism. Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts will be the guest of honour whereas Sh. Romesh Bhosle, eminent artist (Pune) & Advisor JKCCA will be the special guest on this occasion.
The art work of select 80 veteran and well known as well young artists of India and abroad would be displayed in the exhibition. The show would showcase the different trends & styles, techniques and mediums being put into practice by the artists at global level.
According to O OP Sharma, Director JKCCA, "JKCCA is perhaps the only NGO in the state of J&K that integrates itself with the functions of visual arts, literature and performing arts and has been active since 1999. It has organized a large number of state, national and international level art camps, art exhibitions at Jammu, Rajouri, Sunderbani, Amritsar, New Delhi, Jaipur, Dehradun, Aru, Pahalgam, Lucknow, Goa etc. providing platform to the artists."
The invitees section of the exhibition would display the art of V S Rahi, Dr. A K Dixit, Delhi, Dr. Nathu Lal Verma, Jaipur, Fareha Zeba, Dhaka, Ashok Gupta, Haridwar, Prof. Varinder Saini, Hoshiarpur, K S Gill, Dharminder Sharma, Amritsar , Ravinder Sharma, Chandhigarh, Prof. T S Batra, Jang S Verman and O P Sharma, Jammu, Pratima Singh, Lucknow, Dr. Satya Singh, Lucknow, Gaytri, Hoshiarpur and Yousuf Naqshbandi, Srinagar.
