Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 9: Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, National Conference Additional General Secretary, condemned the BJP for jeopardizing job opportunities for Jammu and Kashmir youth by abrogating Article 370 and Article 35A. He accused the BJP of neglecting the state's development, leading to widespread unemployment and deprivation of basic amenities. Sadhotra urged voters to support INDIA bloc candidates in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the need for unity and equal opportunities for progress.
Addressing public gatherings in PATOLI within the JAMMU NORTH ASSEMBLY CONSTITUENCY, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, the Additional General Secretary of the National Conference, strongly criticized the BJP for undermining the employment prospects of Jammu and Kashmir youth through the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A. He asserted that this move has severely compromised the rights of local youth to jobs designated exclusively for state subjects.
Sadhotra held the BJP accountable for failing to fulfill its promises of development, economic upliftment, and job creation in the region. He highlighted the prevalent sense of neglect and deprivation among the people, particularly in the last decade, which has exacerbated the issue of rampant unemployment among the youth.
Expressing confidence in the electorate's resolve for change, Sadhotra urged voters to exercise their voting power wisely in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly Polls. He emphasized the importance of supporting INDIA bloc candidates across various constituencies to uphold the principles of unity, diversity, and equal opportunities for all.
Asserting the National Conference's commitment to promoting progress and development for all, regardless of caste, creed, or religion, Sadhotra underscored the need for a strong and united India that upholds constitutional values at all costs.
Sadhotra lamented the growing sense of alienation among the people of Jammu and Kashmir, warning of potential frustration and dejection if corrective measures are not promptly implemented.
Hundreds of youths joined the National Conference during the gatherings, prompting Sadhotra to extend a warm welcome to the new members and expressing hope that their involvement would bolster the party's strength and leadership.
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Thakur Ghar Singh Manhas, Raghubir Singh Manhas, Ghar Singh Chib, Rakesh Sharma, Gurnam Singh, Ashwani Charak, and other party officials and supporters.
