JAMMU, Apr 20: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, reaffirmed the significance of Sanatana Dharma as the national religion of Bharat. Emphasizing the deep-rooted cultural and spiritual heritage of India, he highlighted the timeless relevance of Sanatana Dharma in shaping the ethos of the nation.
The senior BJP leader was speaking during the Kirtan of Khatu Sham ji was organized by President of Ram Mandir Committee and Ex Corporator Surjeet Pappu Chowdhary at Ram Mandir, Ward No 43, Nanak Nagar, Jammu. Ex Mayor Rajinder Sharma, BJP leader Ankush Gupta was also present. Kavinder said that Sanatana Dharma, often referred to as Hinduism, is more than just a religion; it is a way of life that encompasses a rich tapestry of traditions, philosophies, and values that have been nurtured over millennia. He underscored the inclusive nature of Sanatana Dharma, which respects diversity and promotes harmony among different communities.
Recognizing its significance, Kavinder Gupta upon the youth to step forward and actively engage in its preservation. He emphasized that by embracing and cherishing this cultural heritage, the youth can contribute to the continuity of values, traditions, and wisdom inherent in Sanatan Dharma. He also spoke about the transformative ten years of Modi rule in the country, highlighting the Government's achievements and its vision for a stronger and prosperous India.
The senior BJP leader appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood at all costs when the world is grappling with various challenges, including social divisions and conflicts. He urged them to rise above differences and work towards a shared vision of a harmonious and prosperous society.
