The announcement of this achievement was made by NAAC on April 25, 2024, following a rigorous evaluation process encompassing various facets of the university's functioning.
NAAC's assessment scrutinized JUIT's infrastructure, faculty profile, curriculum, student support services, research performance, and community engagement, among other parameters. This accreditation underscores JUIT's unwavering dedication to maintaining high standards in teaching, research, innovation, outreach activities, and overall operational excellence.
Manoj Gaur, Pro-Chancellor of JUIT and Executive Chairman of Jaiprakash Associates Limited, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Vice-Chancellor Prof R K Sharma and his dynamic team for this remarkable achievement. Prof Sharma, in turn, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing JUIT's steadfast commitment to providing world-class education, fostering research and innovation, and upholding exceptional operational standards.
The accreditation with an A+ grade validates JUIT's position as a leading institution in higher education and research. Prof Sunil Kumar Khah, In-charge of IQAC, emphasized that this achievement is a result of the dedication, commitment, and hard work of the university's IQAC team, faculty, staff, and students.
Located in the picturesque Solan District of Himachal Pradesh, JUIT offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs across various disciplines. The university takes pride in its mission to provide higher education opportunities to all segments of society while bridging skill gaps and nurturing industry professionals.

The establishment of the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (TIEDC) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell, supported by the Himachal Pradesh Government, along with multiple Centers of Excellence and high-end laboratories, further enhance JUIT's research capabilities and academic pursuits.
As part of the Jaypee Edusphere, JUIT boasts access to the "Ramanujan Universe," a supercomputing facility enabling faculty and students to conduct cutting-edge research.
