5/8/2024 10:28:34 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 8: Criticizing Pt Jawaharlal Nehru and the Congress party for doing no good to India, senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta said that 'under par' policies implemented by the Congress leadership during its over 55 years rule wasted country's crucial time leading to poverty, underdevelopment and rampant corruption.
The BJP stalwart leader was addressing party's Shakti Kendra Parmukhs and booth agents besides the activists, who worked with extreme dedication during run up to the election and on the polling day. He expressed gratitude to the BJP activists for showing grit and determination for ensuring the success of party in the Lok sabha polls as fulfilling this mission is the best which the citizens can do for the nation because no other party can serve the nation in such a perfect manner like the BJP Government under the realms of PM Narendra Modi.
He said that mistakes committed by Pt Jawaharlal Nehru are still haunting the country, and despite the passing of a number of decades, the government is finding it difficult to undo the wrongs committed in the past by the Congress leadership. He said that Article 370 was the colossal misdemeanor by Pandit Nehru, which was finally scrapped by the Modi Government. He said that to describe the mistakes by the Congress party, one needs a voluminous account as the list is endless, comprising gross mistakes. He said no other party or individual would have taken such directionless steps which the old grand party had taken leading to the emergence of scores of bottlenecks in the path of progress of the country.
Earlier District President Rekha Mahajan also thanked the party activists for showing exuberance and outstanding commitment to bring voters to polling booths and ensure people become aware of every single work accomplished by BJP and party's future plans for the welfare of masses and development of India in general and J&K in particular. Others present during the meeting include
Vinay Gupta, Narinder Koki, Pushpinder Singh, Surjeet Singh Pappu, Ashok Khajuria, Sat Chowdhary, Bharat Bhushan, Rahul Kumar, Rachit Khosla and Sandeep Gupta.
