| Crackdown on illegal mining, 6 vehicles detained | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 10: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources. In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations in Rural zone of District Jammu. PS Nagrota detained three tractor with trollies bearing Chasis no MBNAK48ACMTM52031, MBNAK48ACPTP23281 & WYTG29428132500 laden with sand and stones without form A. PP Manwal detained one Tipper bearing registration No.JK14 F-1702 and two dumpers bearing Reg.No.JK14H-4524 & JK14J- 2405 involved in illegal mining. After detaining of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions. While giving the details SP Rural Jammu, conveyed that Jammu Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area. |
