International Women's Day celebrated at Police Station Janipur, Bakshi Nagar | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 8: On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Janipur and Bakshi Nagar Police proudly recognizes and celebrates the dedication, hard work, and invaluable contributions of women officers and officials serving at Police Station Janipur and Bakshi Nagar, as well as female staff posted at SDPO City West Jammu office. In this regard an impressive function was also held in the respective police stations to honour female staff. Besides this, a special program was also organized at Girls High School Resham Ghar Bakshi Nagar to commemorate the day. The event highlighted the achievements of women in India and emphasized the importance of education among girls. SDPO City West Dr. Satish Bhardwaj JKPS, SHO Bakshi Nagar Insp. Azad Manhas, ICPP GMC PSI Murtaza Rehman and other dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence. DySP Hq Jammu Farha Nishat also participated in the function, which was attended by civil society members. The role of police in ensuring women's security and the various programs launched to empower women were appreciated by the attendees. Later the participant students were also served refreshment.
