JAMMU, Mar 8: A team from Police Station Rehambal, during a naka (checkpoint) operation at Phlata, intercepted a suspicious individual. The suspect, identified as Viru Yadav, son of Panchdev Yadav, resident of Supplymorh, Udhampur, was apprehended by the police team.
Upon frisking, the police recovered 3 grams of heroin-like contraband along with a polypouch from his possession. He was immediately arrested on the spot.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 38/2025 has been registered at Police Station Rehambal under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act.
Further investigation is underway. |
