Early Times Report
KATHUA, Apr 9: National Conference Additional General Secretary and former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today visited the bereaved families of Jammu and Kashmir Police martyrs Balwinder Singh Chib of Kanachak Hiranagar and Jaswant Singh of Londi Hiranagar, who made the supreme sacrifice while valiantly combating radicalized terrorists in the recent Kathua Hiranagar encounter. Mr. Sadhotra extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving families, acknowledging their immense loss and offering prayers for eternal peace to the departed souls. He saluted the unmatched courage and bravery of the martyrs, who laid down their lives defending the integrity and sovereignty of the nation by facing terrorists from the front.
"The entire nation bows in respect to the bravery of these heroes," Mr. Sadhotra said while interacting with the mourners present at their respective residences in Kathua. He noted with deep reverence that Martyr Balwinder Singh Chib came from a family of warriors, being the fourth-generation martyr, his great-grandfather having sacrificed his life during the First World War.
"These martyrs gave their today for our safe tomorrow," he added, stressing that their memory must inspire the nation to eliminate terrorism with an iron fist.
