Early Times Report
MARH, Apr 11: National Conference Additional General Secretary and former Minister, Mr. Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, today emphasized the importance of camaraderie, high aspirations, and holistic development among students, saying that the sky is the limit when it comes to achieving academic excellence. The function was blessed by Sant Tejvant Singh.
Addressing the students and faculty at SGSD International School Domana on the occasion of the commencement of the new academic session, Mr. Sadhotra underscored the need for young minds to cultivate a spirit of unity, mutual respect, and ambition. Students must dream big and work diligently to realize their potential, he said, adding that with determination and dedication, nothing is beyond reach.
Highlighting the importance of a balanced lifestyle, Mr Sadhotra also urged students to actively participate in sports and extracurricular activities, saying, physical development is as crucial as intellectual growth. A healthy body nurtures a healthy mind and prepares students to face the challenges of life with strength and resilience, he added.
Mr Sadhotra described students as the true architects of the nation's future and expressed hope that teachers will play their pivotal role not only in academics but also in instilling moral values, a sense of inclusiveness, and deep-rooted nationalism among the youth. It is the responsibility of educators to ensure that children grow into responsible citizens who uphold the values of integrity, unity, and patriotism, he said.
He also stressed that harmonious societal growth is essential for shaping a progressive and enlightened future generation. When a society thrives in peace and mutual understanding, it creates a nurturing environment for its youth to flourish, he observed.
Mr. Sadhotra reiterated that the essence of all religions is the spirit of togetherness, and exuded confidence that students will grow up in an environment that celebrates unity in diversity. The atmosphere of togetherness strengthens the social fabric and promotes compassion, empathy, and solidarity among all, he said. He also participated in Akhand Path, organised by Sant Tejvant Singh and prayed for peace, prosperity, tranquility and wellness of all.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from students, teachers, and parents alike, who reaffirmed their commitment to nurturing a well-rounded educational environment.
National Conference leader appreciated the efforts of the management of school to raise the standard of the school and encourage the students for co-curricular activites, religious tolerance and patriotism besides academics. Others who participated Rakesh Sharma President District President YNC and school management and Principal of the school.
