GDC Ramkote accords farewell to Outgoing batch of students

KATHUA, Apr 26: A farewell function filled with zeal and splendor was today organised for the outgoing batch of BA Semester 6th of Government Degree College Ramkote. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to remember and recall memories made during college life.
The function commenced with the formal welcome of Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, Principal of the college, staff and the outgoing batch of students.
In his inspirational speech, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul motivated the students to lead a happy and contented life and wished them good luck for their future endeavours. He also guided the students with the essential tips for scoring better in their upcoming exams and CUET for pursuing further studies. He told the students to uphold the motto of the college “Knowledge is power” with their utmost sincerity.
A group dance by Nitakshi Sharma and Rita Devi of semester 2nd was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Students of the outgoing batch assigned the title “The Trigger of Transformation” to worthy Principal Sir. Various entertainment games and activities like bursting the balloon, ramp walk, singing and dumb charades etc. kept the seniors engaged and entertained throughout the event.
The students who anchored the event were Taniya Sharma, Latasha Sharma and Meenakshi Devi of B.A. semester 4th. Faculty present included Dr. Shakeeb Manzer, Dr. Anu Salaria, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Poonam Rani, Rouf Bhatt, Preeti Mahajan, Sushil Singh, Krishan Singh and Ankush Kundral.
