Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 30: Mr. Shantmanu, Additional Chief Secretary of the School Education Department and Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), extended his heartfelt congratulations to students following the recent declaration of the class 12th results. In a statement released today, Mr. Shantmanu emphasized the critical role that higher secondary schooling plays in the academic journey, acknowledging that passing the examination marks a significant achievement for students.
Continuing the positive trend from previous years, he noted that girls have once again outperformed boys in terms of both overall pass percentages and top positions in the merit list. He highlighted that this reflects the increasing ambition among female students in their academic pursuits.
The Chairman also took a moment to advise students who were not able to qualify in this session to reflect and work harder for the upcoming exams, urging them to use the opportunity for improvement.
In addition to congratulating the students, Mr. Shantmanu appreciated the efforts of the JKBOSE staff, particularly the secrecy wing, for their dedication and extra hours of work that enabled the timely compilation of results within just 36 days. He commended the board for achieving this important milestone and emphasized the need to maintain this efficiency in future examinations.
