MLA Vikram Randhawa lays foundation stone for aspirational toilet

JAMMU, May 1: In a significant move to enhance public sanitation facilities, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bahu, laid the foundation stone for the Aspirational Toilet at Satwari Chowk. The project, spearheaded by the Jammu Cantonment Board, aims to provide improved sanitation in the area and is part of the ongoing efforts to upgrade public amenities in Jammu.
The foundation stone-laying ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Amit Mane, CEO of Jammu Cantonment Board; Bharat Bhushan, Executive Member; Rakesh Kumar, JE; Narinder Koki; Suhail; Naveen Gupta; Ramesh Gupta; Tarun Gupta; Rajesh Gupta; and other prominent local figures.
Speaking at the event, MLA Vikram Randhawa emphasized the importance of clean and accessible sanitation facilities in ensuring public health and dignity. "This facility will significantly improve the quality of life for the people of Satwari Chowk and surrounding areas," he said, stressing the need for continued efforts in providing modern civic infrastructure.
Amit Mane, CEO of the Jammu Cantonment Board, shared that the Aspirational Toilet would be equipped with state-of-the-art, eco-friendly features, and would serve as a model facility for the region. "This project is an integral part of our mission to enhance civic amenities and contribute to the success of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan," he added. Executive Member Bharat Bhushan and JE Rakesh Kumar also lauded the project, assuring the public that it would be completed within the stipulated time frame, benefiting residents and visitors alike. The Aspirational Toilet project is expected to make a significant impact on public sanitation in the Satwari area, ensuring a cleaner, healthier environment for all.
