Kuldeep Gupta to represent AKF at Asian Youth Games 2025 technical meeting

JAMMU, May 3: Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association and Technical Director of the Asian Kabaddi Federation (AKF), has been entrusted with a key responsibility for the upcoming 3rd Asian Youth Games (AYG) 2025, scheduled to be held in Bahrain.
Mr. Gupta will represent the AKF at the first Technical Delegate Meeting for the AYG, set to take place from May 13 to May 17, 2025, in Bahrain. His role will be critical in shaping and overseeing the kabaddi events at this prestigious continental youth competition.
A veteran in kabaddi administration, Mr. Gupta previously served as the Technical Director in multiple major events, including the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China (2023), the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, China (2010), and the 14th Asian Games in Busan, Korea (2002). He has also held key officiating roles in numerous National Games across India.
His appointment to the AYG reflects his vast experience and technical expertise, and his leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of kabaddi matches at the Games.
