Early Times Report
KATRA, June 7: In a historic and heartwarming moment, students of Delhi Public School, Katra were blessed with the exceptional opportunity to interact with the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, during the flag-off ceremony of the iconic Katra-Kashmir Vande Bharat Express.
The event turned into a once-in-a-lifetime experience as our students engaged with the Hon'ble Prime Minister aboard the prestigious Vande Bharat train, soaking in his inspiring presence and powerful words. The interaction was not only memorable but profoundly moving, charged with national pride, youthful spirit, and mutual respect.
Narendra Modi took a personal and warm interest in the students' lives-asking them about their earlier journeys on Vande Bharat trains, discussing their interests in sports and life, and encouraging them to dream big. A student's passionate description of his love for cricket delighted the Prime Minister, while another student's recitation of a motivational poem titled "Jaago Bharat ke Ram, Jaago" drew heartfelt appreciation from the Hon'ble PM.
In a particularly thoughtful moment, a DPS student asked, "Sir, now that we can travel from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, when will we be able to travel from Ladakh to Kanyakumari?" Shri Narendra Modi Ji responded with his signature wisdom and encouragement, saying that the dreams of today could become the reality of tomorrow when these very students become the engineers and nation-builders of the future.
He shared life-changing guidance with the children, saying:
"In life, never give up motivation; if ever you feel low, awaken your inner strength and keep moving forward."
His words left an indelible impact on the students, teachers, and staff present.
The students of DPS Katra expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for his inspiring words, his blessings, and his deep concern for the future of India's youth. They assured him that they would strive to contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress, upliftment, and unity.
The Management of DPS Katra - M. K. Ajatshatru Singh - (Chairman, Maharaja Hari Singh Social & Education Foundation, J&K), Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh (Founder/Trustee), and S. S. Sodhi (Pro-Vice Chairperson) - extended their profound thanks to the Hon'ble Prime Minister for this rare and precious opportunity. They expressed their joy and pride that the students could witness history in the making and be inspired firsthand by the nation's most visionary leader.
This defining moment will forever remain etched in the hearts of the students of DPS Katra, motivating them to dream bigger, rise higher, and serve the nation with dedication and pride.
