Early Times Report
PULWAMA, June 27: Continuing its campaign under the nationwide flagship initiative Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), district administration Pulwama today organized a mega tribal outreach camp at Machama Tral.
The camp marked a significant step towards realising the vision of last-mile delivery of welfare services through a whole-of-government approach as envisioned by the Abhiyan, bringing together various Govt. departments such as Health, Education, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Forest, Fisheries, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, and others under one umbrella.
On the occasion, each department had set up their dedicated stall focusing on achieving saturation in various government schemes such as PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Aadhaar enrolment, Ayushman Bharat card registration, Kisan Credit Card issuance, and the distribution of domicile and caste certificates.
The event was attended by Member of Legislative Assembly Tral, Rafiq Ahmad Naik, and DDC Member Tral, Dr. Harbaksh Singh. They interacted with the tribal community, listened to their concerns, and acknowledged the importance of direct engagement in bridging service gaps.
MLA Tral also inspected the stalls set up by various line departments and reviewed their progress. While addressing the gathering, he emphasised the importance of achieving full coverage of all government schemes and welfare programmes in tribal areas, and instructed officials to ensure that benefits are delivered timely and effectively to all eligible beneficiaries.
