GGM Science College unveils admission brochure for 2025-26

JAMMU, July 4: Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College Jammu officially unveiled its Admission cum Information Brochure for the academic session 2025-26 in a simple yet impressive ceremony today. The brochure was formally released by Prof. (Dr) K. S. Chandrasekar, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ), in the presence of Ms. Ankur Mahajan (KAS), Registrar, CLUJ, and Prof. (Dr) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GGM Science College.
In his address, Prof. (Dr) Chandrasekar commended Principal Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta for his dedicated leadership and praised the college's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and its proactive response to evolving educational trends. He added that GGM Science College continues to uphold its proud legacy of quality education and holistic student development as the brochure not only outlines the courses and opportunities available but also embodies the college's vision to nurture responsible, skilled, and socially conscious graduates.
Prof. (Dr) Romesh Kumar Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, highlighted the institution's mission and emphasized the college's dedication to cultivating an engaging, forward-looking academic environment. Dr. Gupta added that this brochure serves as a window into our diverse academic programmes, vibrant campus life, and strong focus on research, innovation, and community engagement. He added that the College offers undergraduate programs in core sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Geography, Electronics, Biotechnology, and Computer Applications as major and minor subjects. Additional subjects being offered as minors are Environmental Science, Biochemistry, Human Genetics, and from the current academic session Statistics is being offered as Minor and Skill subject which is further expected to enrich its academic portfolio.
The event was also attended by distinguished faculty members, including Dr. M. S. Saini, Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Dr. Arun Kumar, Dr. Varun Arya, and Dr. Devi Dass, who collaboratively worked on the brochure. Their collective effort highlighted the importance of the admission brochure as a valuable guide to help aspiring students navigate the admission process and make informed choices.
