Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 5: Amandeep Group of Hospitals proudly welcomed Dr. Pankaj Goel, one of North India's most experienced and respected cardiac surgeons, to its expert medical team. In a major step towards enhancing cardiac care access in the region, it was announced that Dr. Goel will now conduct a dedicated OPD in Jammu once every month.
Dr. Goel is currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of the Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery Unit at Amandeep Medicity. With over 30 years of experience in cardiac surgery, he has performed thousands of successful heart and vascular procedures, earning trust across Punjab and beyond.
Having trained at prestigious institutions in India and abroad - including specialized experience in heart and lung transplants - Dr. Goel brings unmatched expertise in complex cardiac cases. His services will now benefit patients in Jammu who can access high-level consultations without the need to travel far.
This initiative was in line with Amandeep Hospital's ongoing mission to deliver quality, ethical, and advanced healthcare to every corner of the region.
Dr. Pankaj Goel shared, "I am honoured to be part of the Amandeep team and look forward to serving the people of Jammu with the same dedication and precision that has guided my journey so far. Quality cardiac care should be accessible to all, and this OPD is a step in that direction."
Dr. Avtar Singh also stated, "We are delighted to have Dr. Pankaj Goel join our team. His vast experience and surgical excellence will be a great asset, especially for patients in Jammu who now won't have to travel far for specialised cardiac consultations."
From just a five-bedded hospital, AHPL has grown to more than 750 operational beds, and a team of more than 170 distinguished surgeons and physicians, who have transformed more than 5 lakh lives, and counting.
The Amandeep Group has six branches, with two located in Amritsar and one each in Pathankot, Ferozepur, Srinagar, and Tarn Taran. The Group has transformed 5 lakh lives since its inception.
