We will fight for the betterment of Dogra Community; YRS, DST

JAMMU, July 6: A special and important meeting was held in Jammu in which a special discussion was held about the Dogra community. This meeting was called by Dogra Samaj Trust (DST) Mumbai and in which Sangeeta Jaitley, (Daughter of Former Finance Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Late Girdhari Lal Dogra and Wife of Former Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Late Arun Jaitley), along with members of Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS), under the presidentship of President Vikram Singh Vicky along with Former President Rajan Singh Happy, Spokesperson and Media Advisor Vishal Singh, Senior vice-president Mandeep Singh, Jammu District President Avtar Singh, along with Dogra Samaj Trust members Nidhi Dogra, Manu Dogra (Daughter and Son of Late Giridhari Lal Dogra), Nidhi Gupta and Sunil Gupta Members of (Dogra Samaj Trust) were also present. This meeting was held regarding the problems and needs of the Dogra community.
Members of Dogra Samaj Trust and Sangeeta Jaitley, present in the meeting, boosted the morale of the members of Yuva Rajput Sabha and said that they are doing a very good job for Jammu and Kashmir and the Dogra community and the way they fought for declaring a holiday on the birthday of Last Dogra Ruler Maharaja Hari Singh ji , it can never be denied and it will be written in golden letters in the pages of history. And Sangeeta Jethani ji said that Yuva Rajput Sabha should always raise the voice of Dogra and always raise voice for the rights and difficulties faced by Dogra community.
Under the presidentship of Vikram Singh Vicky, the members of Yuva Rajput Sabha honoured Sangeeta Jetley ji and the members of Dogra Samaj Trust by giving them photo frame of Maharaja Hari Singh ji and said that Maharaja Hari Singh ji is a symbol of pride for us and we all should sing praises of our kings and warriors.
Vikram Singh said that just like every community manages to work for its bright future, in the same way Yuva Rajput Sabha will also keep talking about the rights of Dogra community and about the best of Jammu Kashmir as well as the golden glorious history of Dogra's. Vikram Singh also said that Jammu Kashmir is a historical princely state and no one can forget the rule of Dogra's and the contribution of Dogra's for this princely state and our contributions and sacrifices will always be written in golden letters in history.
Rajan Singh Happy also suggested to all the people to do their best efforts and said that if we all unite and work for the future of the Dogra community, then no one can stop us and we will always fight unitedly for the problems and needs of the Dogra community and keep raising our voice.
The work being done by the Dogra Samaj Trust for the betterment of the Dogra community was also discussed and the Yuva Rajput Sabha said that we will always be seen standing with every organization that will raise voice for the betterment of the Dogra community and in this special meeting, some special and important issues were also discussed, including the State of Jammu and Kashmir, the care of the historical heritage of Jammu and Kashmir, the promotion of Dogra culture, discussion on Dogra language and the reading of Dogra history in books and to our future generations were also discussed. Along with this, all the members present in the meeting emphasized on telling our young generation and the coming children especially about our glorious history and said that if we tell today's generation and the coming generation about our glorious history, then it will be better. If we do not tell them, then in the future the contributions of the Dogra community will be forgotten and we all must keep our glorious history alive and tell our children about the contributions and sacrifices made in our history so that our future generations can call themselves Hindustani Dogra with proud.
