UDHAMPUR, July 14: As part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Utkarsh Abhiyan, an awareness cum benefit saturation camp was today organized at village Omhara, Panchayat Sundla, Block Khoon.
The camp was held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai and was graced by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Dr. Ashwani Hansa, who is also the Nodal Officer for the campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hansa sensitized the local tribal people about several flagship welfare schemes launched by the Government for their socio-economic upliftment. He emphasized the District Administration commitment to ensuring 100% saturation of schemes and delivery of different services to eligible beneficiaries.
Officials from the line departments participated in the camp and provided on-the-spot services and information at their respective stalls established at the venue.
Domicile and ST category certificates were issued on the spot to the eligible tribal beneficiaries, thereby facilitating their access to a wide range of welfare initiatives.
Later, a special grievances redressal camp was also organized, where numerous public issues were resolved on the spot by the concerned officials. |
