Jammu, July 22: A delegation of the Apni Party, led by District President Jammu Urban Abhay Bakaya, met with Director FCS&CA, Madam Rifhat Kholi, to discuss urgent issues faced by the general public due to the non-functionality of the Department's website. The delegation comprised Senior Vice President Neelam Gupta, Secretaries Sheekha Dogra and G.L. Pandita, and senior leader Farooq Chouhan. The team detailed the ongoing hardships among citizens, highlighting that the ration card is now mandatory for a host of essential services, and the website's downtime has led to widespread inconvenience. Responding to the concerns, Director FCS&CA Rifhat Kholi assured the delegation that the website is currently undergoing upgradation to provide an improved and more user-friendly experience. She informed that the portal will be fully functional from the first week of August. Additionally, Madam Kholi clarified that all children attaining the age of six years can now be enrolled after due intimation to the concerned authorities. The Apni Party delegation expressed gratitude for the Director’s patient hearing and transparent explanation of the situation, and thanked her for addressing the public’s concerns proactively. |
