RAMBAN, July 22: Principal District and Sessions Judge Ramban Shri Deepak Sethi on 21st July -2025, awarded Imprisonment for life and imprisonment for 10 years in a murder/ kidnapping Case of Police Station Gool,District Ramban. As per the prosecution, a Case FIR number 88/2003 Under section 302/364/120-B, 121-A/ RPCand 7/27 IAA was registered at Police Station Gool on 17-12-2003, with regard to the Kidnapping and killing of one person namely Mushtaq Ahmed son of Sadar Din Resident of Gagarsulla Tehsil Gool, by some unknown militants during the intervening night of 16/17-12-2003. After concluding the investigation of instant Case, the Police Report under section 173(2) Cr.PC was presented before the Court under section 302/364/120-B RPC and 7/27 IAA, against the accused persons namely, Mohd Mumtaz Son of Haleem Gujjar Resident of Harra Tehsil Gool, Farooq Ahmed Son of Abdul Rehman resident of Dharram Tehsil Gool and three others, vide Challan number 12 of 2004 dated 21-09-2004. After concluding the trial, the Principal Sessions Judge Ramban sentenced the accused persons namely Mohd Mumtaz son of Haleem Gujjar resident of village Harra Tehsil Gool, Farooq Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman resident of Village Dharram Tehsil Gool for the life imprisonment, for the commission of offence under section 302/RPC and to undergo 10 years imprisonment. |
