MY Bharat Doda observes Kargil Vijay Diwas with tributes, padyatra

Doda, July 26: MY Bharat Doda, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India organized special programs at two venues to mark the 26th Kargil Vijay Diwas and to pay homage to the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during the 1999 Kargil War.
At the District Police Line, Doda, MY Bharat volunteers offered floral tributes by garlanding the portraits of Kargil martyrs. A Rangoli Competition on the theme of patriotism was held, encouraging youth to creatively express their respect for the nation’s heroes. Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sh. Harvinder Singh (IAS), graced the occasion as Chief Guest and appreciated MY Bharat’s efforts in channelizing youth energy towards nation-building.
"Kargil Vijay Diwas is not just a remembrance, but a call to every youth to imbibe the values of sacrifice, unity, and service to the nation," said Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sh. Harvinder Singh.
In another event, MY Bharat organized a Padyatra from Tondwah to Clock Tower, Doda, which witnessed the participation of hundreds of volunteers carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans. MLA West, Sh. Shakti Parihar, and MLA Bhaderwah, Sh. Daleep Singh Parihar, also participated, lauding the youth for their spirited involvement.
"The energy of the youth of Doda reflects the unwavering respect for our Armed Forces and the martyrs whose courage continues to inspire generations," said MLA West, Sh. Shakti Parihar.
The programs concluded with a pledge by all participants to work for the nation’s unity, peace, and progress, embodying the spirit of the Kargil heroes
