Doda, July 30: The 2nd J&K UT Taekwondo Championship 2025 concluded today with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation at Indoor Sports Hall, Doda. The prestigious event was organized by the Taekwondo Association of District Doda and co-organized by GameOn Foundation under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association and J&K Sports Council as part of the My Youth My Pride Initiative.
The championship was successfully headed by Mr. Junaid Ali Khan (President, Taekwondo Association of District Doda) and Mr. Burhan Ud Din Khan (Secretary, Taekwondo Association of District Doda). The GameOn Foundation not only co-organized the event but also managed technical operations and deployed a team of volunteers ensuring smooth conduct of the championship.
The Closing Ceremony was graced by Shri Harvinder Singh, IAS (Deputy Commissioner Doda) as the Chief Guest, with Shri Sandeep Mehta (SSP Doda) as the Guest of Honor. Dr. Subuh Ahmed Shad, JKAS (Tehsildar Doda), Mr. Rajesh Kotwal (Manager, Indoor Sports Stadium Doda), and Mr. Yasir Wani (Executive Officer, MC Doda) attended as Special Guests.
In his address, Chief Guest Shri Harvinder Singh, IAS, applauded the efforts of the organizers for bringing such a high-level sporting event to the Chenab Valley, encouraging youth participation and sports culture in the region. He also felicitated the medalists and coaches with trophies and certificates.

Runner-up: District Kathua
2nd Runner-up: District Udhampur
Active Participation Awards: District Jammu, District Budgam, and District Poonch. Best Sportsmanship Spirit Awards: District Samba, District Reasi, and District Doda. |
