Jodhamal teams shine at F1 in Schools Nationals Championship

JAMMU, Aug 5: Jodhamal Public School proudly marked its presence at the prestigious F1 in Schools National Championship 2025 held at Genesis Global School - Noida. Two exceptional teams from the school-Team Marlin Racing and Team Veervajra Racing - showcased their talent, innovation, and engineering skills in this competitive event, which brings together students from across the country to design, manufacture, and race miniature working Formula 1 car models on a 25-meter track.
Team Marlin Racing included Kunwar Ranvir Sharma, Varchava Vishal, Mohd Ibrahim and Aarav Handoo, while Team Veervajra Racing comprised Iraj Duggal, Parth Sharma, Adeesh Singh, Aarav Mahajan, Adhyan Gupta and Akash Arora. Under the dedicated mentorship of Neetu Johri, both teams worked tirelessly in the lead-up to the championship, applying their STEM knowledge and creative problem-solving abilities to meet the rigorous demands of the competition.
Their efforts were recognized and rewarded as the teams won accolades for Resilience and Innovation-a testament to their perseverance, teamwork and forward-thinking approach. Jodhamal Public School, in collaboration with Time of Sports, continues to be the only STEM-accredited school in Jammu & Kashmir for the past three years. Through such opportunities, the school remains committed to nurturing future innovators and promoting excellence in STEM education across the region.
Earlier in July the Regionals Championship of F1 in Schools was held in the Campus of Jodhamal Public School where 8 teams had participated and Team Marlin Racing and Team Veervajra Racing had qualified for the F1 in Schools Nationals.
Adding to the school's distinction at the event, two students - Danial Butt and Amay Gupta were selected to serve as student judges at the National Championship. They were entrusted with the responsibility of evaluating the portfolios of participating teams from various states across India. This prestigious opportunity reflected not only their personal competence and understanding of the competition but also the school's continued excellence of fostering leadership and expertise among its students.
Jodhamal Public School, in collaboration with Time of Sports, continues to be the only STEM-accredited school in Jammu & Kashmir for the past three years.
